I am a Guinea pig keeper based in Wigan, Lancashire. It all started when I rehomed one and then I fell in love and wanted to have more :-)
I have been keeping them for quite a while but just as pets until last year when I bred one of my sows.
I have a few smooth haired pigs, teddy's, a few Coronets and a couple of shelties.
I do not breed my pigs for profit, its purely just an interest of mine most are kept here with me unless I have no space but my herd is ever growing!
If any are sold the money made on the sale of a pig goes right back into the upkeep of keeping them all fed and housed.
They are first and foremost my pets which are well socialised and love lots of attention which they get from all the family :)
